Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift

Worldwide Foam | Elkhart, Indiana

Pay: $26.00–$32.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 2:00 PM–10:30 PM
Job Type: Full-Time

Worldwide Foam is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our second-shift team in Elkhart, Indiana
. We're looking for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, solving problems, and taking ownership of keeping production equipment running safely and efficiently.

In this role, you'll handle both planned maintenance and unexpected equipment issues. You'll work closely with production to diagnose problems, complete repairs, and get equipment safely back into operation while minimizing downtime. Just as importantly, you'll help identify recurring problems and find solutions that keep them from happening again.

Our maintenance team works with a variety of industrial equipment and mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
. You may be troubleshooting motors, sensors, switches, conveyors, pumps, bearings, cylinders, valves, electrical components, and other production equipment throughout your shift.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience and strong mechanical troubleshooting skills. You should be comfortable working independently, prioritizing maintenance needs, and responding to equipment issues in a fast-paced production environment.

A working knowledge of industrial electrical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics is important, along with the ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.

Experience with
PLCs, VFDs, welding, fabrication, and automated manufacturing equipment is a plus.

What You'll Do
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production equipment
  • Perform preventive maintenance and routine equipment inspections
  • Respond to breakdowns and minimize production downtime
  • Identify recurring equipment problems and help develop long-term solutions
  • Follow LOTO and all required safety procedures
  • Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and facility maintenance as needed
