Transport Driver

We are hiring immediately for full‑time and part‑time TRANSPORT DRIVER positions.

Location:

Elkhart Community Schools – 2720 California Road, Elkhart, IN 46514.

Full‑time and part‑time schedules. Monday – Friday; hours may vary. Further details upon interview.

Requirement:
Previous transport driving experience required.

Perks:

Pay Range: $18.00 per hour to $20.00 per hour.

Working as a member of the transportation team, this individual will use a company‑owned vehicle to deliver products or render services over an established route.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to transport requests with a sense of urgency, meeting time delivery goals.
• Follow department protocols using dispatch system appropriately.
• Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
• Complete necessary logs and reports.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Resolve or report vehicle, building, security, or safety issues to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Effective verbal and listening communication skills, service/quality focused to meet a wide range of needs.
• Valid driver’s license, ensuring safe operation of company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and conditions.
