In addition, they must be mindful of and obey all traffic laws and procedures and operate in a safe manner at all times.

Responsibilities
- Drive, maneuver, and park 53' trailers safely, adhering to all traffic laws and DOT regulations.
- Execute daily pre and post-trip inspections of the tractor and trailer (including tires, brakes, lights, and fluids) to ensure safety.
- Load, unload, or supervise the loading of cargo; confirm secure loads and comply with safety regulations to avoid load shifts.
- Strap and secure loads on a drop deck trailer, if operating this type of vehicle.
- Promptly report vehicle malfunctions, accidents, delays, or traffic violations to dispatch.
- Carry out basic maintenance tasks such as fueling, cleaning, and replacing minor parts.
- Exceptional Customer Service:
Deliver goods, check delivery documents, and gather paperwork as needed.
Requirements
- Current Class A CDL
- Active Medical Certificate
- Ability to Lift 30lbs (Minimum)
- Ability to maneuver up and down from truck in a fast pace environment
- Positive attitude
- Superior attendance
- Detail oriented
- Ability to self-manage
- Excellent communication skills
