Position: Inventory Control Clerk I
General Responsibilities
  • Inventory data management:
    Entering cycle count data into the inventory system, updating stock levels, and reconciling discrepancies.
  • Identifying, resolving, and maintaining inventory issues:
    Investigating the root causes of inventory discrepancies, such as damaged goods, incorrect labeling, or system errors, and taking corrective actions.
  • Reporting and analysis:
    Generating reports on cycle count results, identifying trends, and highlighting areas for improvement.
  • Auditing checks:
    Performing periodic audits of inventory to verify accuracy
  • Collaborating with warehouse staff:
    Working with other warehouse personnel to resolve inventory issues and coordinate receiving processes.
  • Obtain/ Maintain a certified forklift operator license
  • Perform other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate for this role will bring demonstrated success in warehouse experience as well as having acquired the following qualifications and experiences.
  • Must be 18 year of age
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. required; additional education or certifications highly preferred.
  • Forklift experience- attentive driving skills
  • Computer skills, knowledge of the AS400 business system (possibly D365) and RF gun
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime and occasional Saturdays.
  • Ability to stand for 8 - 10 hours per day.
  • Ability to read work instructions and maintain accurate records

  • Lifting requirements up to at least 50lbs.
