Inventory Control Clerk

Responsibilities

• Performing cycle counts:
  Regularly counting specific items from the inventory according to a predetermined schedule, comparing the physical count to the system record, and documenting any discrepancies.
• Inventory data management:
  Entering cycle count data into the inventory system, updating stock levels, and reconciling discrepancies.
• Identifying and resolving inventory issues:
  Investigating the root causes of inventory discrepancies, such as damaged goods, incorrect labeling, or system errors, and taking corrective actions.
• Maintaining product identification and location systems:
  Ensuring proper labeling and organization of inventory within the warehouse to facilitate accurate counting.
• Reporting and analysis:
  Generating reports on cycle count results, identifying trends, and highlighting areas for improvement.
• Auditing checks:
  Performing periodic audits of inventory to verify accuracy.
• Collaborating with warehouse staff:
  Working with other warehouse personnel to resolve inventory issues and coordinate receiving processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency with inventory management systems
• Basic math skills
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, BPCS and D365
• Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
• Physical stamina to walk and stand for extended periods in a warehouse environment
• Good communications skills, both verbal and written
• Strategic thinker
• Confident and disciplined to work alone or on a team
• Fork lift experience preferred
• Scale operation for small parts
