The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for inventory on the floor and the order entry of that inventory.
Duties/Responsibilities- Accurately enter all received inventory into the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Update inventory throughout the day as product is received. Scan and/or accurately file packing slips in a timely manner.
- Label and scan all products as required.
- Perform accurate inventory counts of warehouse inventory as requested. Ensure that inventory is appropriately organized and the WMS accurately reflects the inventory on hand. Organize, stage, schedule, and oversee outbound customer orders including accurate paperwork, inventory updates, load tracking and all customer communications.
- Ensure that receivers are recording the proper counts, dimensions, and weights of materials on the packing slips as they are unloaded. Communicate effectively to discuss issues and next steps to improve accuracy. Communicate professionally and promptly to all customer inquiries, whether via email, phone or in-person.
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and management regarding successes, issues, and other relevant information.
- If inventory is delivered to the warehouse without a packing slip, the Inventory Coordinator must examine the product, create a packing slip, and update the appropriate manifest and/or inventory database.
- Review and confirm accurate customs paperwork is on hand for international shipments. Notate the manifest or database for any Purchase Orders that need customs paperwork.

- Proficient calculation skills (use of a calculator is acceptable).
- Ability to safely operate a forklift as needed – approximately 25% of the time.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Prolonged periods of walking and standing throughout the warehouse and in all weather conditions.
- Must be able to properly lift up to 30 pounds at times.
