2nd Shift

Waste Connections is seeking a reliable 2nd Shift team member to support our Transportation & Warehousing operations. In this on-site role, you will help load, unload, and stage waste and recyclable materials, operate material handling equipment, and maintain a clean, safe work area. You'll follow strict safety and environmental procedures while coordinating with drivers and supervisors to keep routes and transfer activities on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling and warehouse equipment safely on 2nd shift
• Load, unload, and stage materials, containers, and recyclables for transport
• Follow all safety, PPE, and environmental procedures and policies
• Assist with basic inspections and housekeeping of work areas and equipment
• Record and report load counts, material types, and any issues or hazards
• Coordinate with drivers, dispatch, and supervisors to meet schedules
• Support recycling, transfer, and disposal workflows as directed
• Participate in training and safety meetings to maintain compliance
