Kelly is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization in Elkhorn, WI, to find an experienced Customer Service Representative to join their team. This is a Direct Hire opportunity , meaning you will be hired directly by our client while Kelly helps guide you through the recruitment and interview process.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with customers, coordinating orders and shipments, and being part of a collaborative team.
What You’ll DoAs a Customer Service Representative, you will help ensure customers receive excellent service and that orders are accurately processed and communicated throughout the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
Receive and enter incoming purchase orders into an ERP system.
Maintain accurate customer records, including location changes, ship dates, quantities, and order revisions.
Communicate order updates with appropriate internal departments.
Serve as a point of contact for customers regarding open and shipped purchase orders.
Coordinate shipping dates with customers.
Prepare and send reports and documents to customers as requested.
Provide backup support for other Customer Service Representatives and Receptionist functions as needed.
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, freight representatives, and coworkers.
Manage time and schedules effectively to meet established goals and objectives.
Work independently with limited supervision.
Follow company safety, quality, and general employee policies.
Associate’s Degree or higher.
At least 2 years of customer service experience in a manufacturing setting.
Freight/shipping experience is a plus.
Knowledge or familiarity with the chemical industry or a related industry is preferred.
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Experience with ERP and/or CRM systems is preferred.
