- Title:
Process Engineer - Industry: Injection molding / medical device manufacturing
- Experience:
4+ years in manufacturing; silicone injection molding a big plus - Education:
BS in Engineering or related field preferred - Must-have skills: injection molding, mold validation, SPC, DOE, GD&T
- Equipment exposure: vision systems, robots, end of arm tooling, automation, packaging
- Tooling: quoting, procurement, modification, validation of new and existing molds
- Vendor management: coordinates changes, approves tooling, works with outside vendors on component validations
- Process improvement: cycle time reduction, scrap reduction, cost reduction, ISO compliance
- Soft skills:
cross-functional team player, good communicator, able to train Process and Mold Technicians - Search &T, plastics manufacturing, medical device, automation, continuous improvement, tooling engineer
