Elkhorn, WI Pay Rate: $23.00 – $30.00 per hour Schedules: 2nd Shift | Monday – Friday | 3 PM – 11 PM 3rd Shift | Monday – Friday | 10:30 PM – 7 AM Training Schedule – 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 7 AM – 3 PM (For 4 weeks)

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required Technical training in CNC machining, manufacturing technology, or a related field preferred Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

Experience Requirements

Minimum 5 years of hands-on CNC machining experience Experience operating and setting up CNC lathes and mills Proficiency with Mazatrol and G-code programming Experience performing quality inspections and documenting production data Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and machining best practices

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) Experience troubleshooting machining issues and optimizing machine performance Knowledge of tooling, fixturing, and continuous improvement initiatives Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Physical Capabilities

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely Experience using cranes, hoists, or other material-handling equipment for heavy parts Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks Manual dexterity and attention to detail required for precision work

Job Duties

Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC lathes and milling machines Manufacture precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with quality standards Record production and quality data accurately Perform routine machine maintenance and report equipment issues promptly Support process improvements, tooling enhancements, and fixturing projects Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all company safety procedures and production requirements

What You Will Do As a CNC Machinist you will set up, operate, monitor, and adjust CNC machining equipment to manufacture precision components according to engineering specifications. You will verify machine setups, inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments, troubleshoot machining issues, maintain tooling, and support quality and production goals while following established safety and manufacturing procedures.

A CNC Machinist combines machining knowledge with computer-controlled manufacturing technology to produce precision components safely and efficiently. This role requires technical ability, mathematical understanding, and a commitment to maintaining exact specifications. The CNC Machinist supports production through accurate machine operation, tooling management, dimensional inspection, and process monitoring while maintaining quality and workplace safety. Strong troubleshooting skills contribute to efficient operations.
