Maintenance Technician Wanted

Location:

Elkhorn, WI Pay Rate: $22.00 – $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

(2nd Shift | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) (3rd Shift | 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) Monday – Friday (TBD) Training will take place on the 1st shift from 7:00 AM – 3:00 AM Monday – Friday for the first few weeks.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred
  • 3–5 years of CNC maintenance experience in manufacturing
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting experience required
  • Experience with CNC equipment and controls preferred
  • Computer skills and forklift certification a plus

Job Duties

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on CNC machines and related equipment, including mills, lathes, grinders, and auxiliary systems. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, and servo issues using schematics, manuals, and diagnostic tools. Calibrate and align components to maintain precision, ensure compliance with safety standards (including LOTO), and track maintenance activity in the system. Collaborate with production teams to resolve recurring issues and support equipment installation, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Strong troubleshooting skills in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of CNC equipment and control systems (Fanuc, Haas, Siemens preferred). Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Experience with PLC systems and electrical diagnostics. Basic welding and fabrication skills. Proficient with precision measuring tools. Effective communication and ability to work independently or on a team.
