- Work independently to provide high-quality maintenance and repairs on residential HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, perform routine preventative maintenance, and manage refrigerants to ensure equipment operates safely.
- Diagnose system malfunctions and replace faulty components like compressors, motors, and thermostats
- Perform comprehensive system checks and filter changes. Conduct routine inspections, clean ducts, replace air filters, and perform seasonal tune-ups.
- Comply with OSHA safety regulations, building codes, and EPA standards for handling refrigerants
- Inform customers about their system’s health and the value of our maintenance agreements and enhancements.
- Minimum of 6 months in HVAC service with the ability to run maintenance calls solo.
- A valid driver’s license, the ability to pass background/drug screens, and an EPA Certification (or ability to acquire certification).
- Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams, alongside strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities
- Must be capable of lifting heavy equipment, crouching, standing for long periods, and working in confined or extreme temperature environments
- You will read technical layouts, mount complex climate control units, run copper refrigerant lines, design or modify ductwork, and lay out electrical wiring.
- Mount compressors, motors, condensers, and evaporators according to engineering layouts.
- Inspect pipe joints for leaks and test electrical circuits to verify operational safety.
- Educate clients on how to operate new smart thermostats and system
- Guide and train junior installers
- A minimum of 3 years of residential installation experience.
- EPA certification is required.
- A solid understanding of residential and commercial HVAC systems, ductwork, and refrigeration.
- Ability to install braze and evacuate line sets and wire all controls and thermostats without supervision.
- Ability to interpret complex blueprints, wiring diagrams, and structural schematics.
- Comfortable crawling into tight spaces climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50–100 pounds
- A valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving history to operate fleet vehicles.
