2). Edelman is looking for an independent and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. - Competitive Pay:
This is an hourly, full-time position with a pay range of $16-$19 per hour. - A Path to Advancement:
Your success is our success. We have a clear list of goals—from gaining NATE certification to meeting sales metrics—that will qualify you to advance to a Level 3 Service Technician and beyond. - Independence and Trust:
You'll work on your own, running maintenance and basic diagnostic calls, with the full support of our service manager and dispatch team. - Professional Development:
We are committed to your ongoing education with required training hours and a focus on helping you master new skills, from soldering to basic electrical troubleshooting.
- Performing Quality Maintenance:
Arriving at scheduled appointments to perform comprehensive system checks and filter changes, ensuring every job meets our high standards. - Customer
Education:
Communicating with customers to inform them about their system's health, our planned maintenance agreements, and opportunities for additional products or services. - Continuous Improvement:
Reporting your progress to dispatch, completing all service-related forms accurately, and working toward the skills and certifications required to advance to the next level. - Safe and Professional Operations:
Maintaining a professional appearance, operating a company vehicle safely, and ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working order.
- Experience:
You have a minimum of 6 months of HVAC service experience and are comfortable working on maintenance calls independently. - Qualifications:
You must be able to pass drug and background screens, have a valid driver’s license, and obtain or currently hold an EPA Certification. An HVAC training program is a plus. - Growth Mindset:
You are eager to learn, committed to continuing education (20 hours per year), and driven to meet the performance goals required for advancement. - A Professional Attitude:
You possess strong communication skills and are committed to safety, quality, and a customer-focused approach.
