Receptionist

Jodie Parrack State Farm, Elkins, WV

The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and support in a fast-paced office environment. This position requires the candidate to obtain a Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license within 30 days of employment.

• Greet and welcome clients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls, taking messages as necessary.
• Provide clients with assistance regarding inquiries, payment processing, billing concerns, and other office-related matters.
• Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for the office.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
• Process incoming and outgoing mail.
• Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, shredding and document preparation.
• Support the team with various office tasks as needed; 24-30 hours per week.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in office administration is a plus.
• Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Friendly demeanor and a positive attitude.
