This vital role offers the opportunity to provide exceptional labor and delivery care in a Level IV trauma hospital setting, directly impacting the health and well-being of women and their families. With a focus on comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic services, you will work alongside dedicated staff in a fast-paced environment committed to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive labor and delivery coverage, including emergency procedures
• Support multidisciplinary teams, including OR and L&D staff
• Manage a patient load of approximately 10-15 call patients per week during 24-hour call shifts
• Ensure highest standards of patient safety and care in a hospital setting with 110 beds
• Utilize Paragon EMR for documentation and patient management
• Adhere to hospital protocols and maintain compliance with certification and licensing requirements

Required Skills:

• Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Valid state medical license (IMLC or temporary license accepted)
• DEA registration
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience

Nice to Have

Skills:

• Experience in high-volume labor and delivery units
• Ability to perform or assist with advanced obstetric procedures
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred

Education and Experience:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Prior experience in Level IV trauma hospitals or similar high-acuity environments

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to work 24-hour call shifts (19:00 – 07:00)
• Credentialing completion within 60 days
• Ability to obtain or transfer license as needed
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care

This role begins on April 16, 2026, and offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $1,872.
