Join Our Team as an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician Make a Difference in Women's Healthcare Elevate your medical career by joining our esteemed healthcare team as an Obstetrics/Gynecology (OB/GYN) Physician. This vital role offers the opportunity to provide exceptional labor and delivery care in a Level IV trauma hospital setting, directly impacting the health and well-being of women and their families. With a focus on comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic services, you will work alongside dedicated staff in a fast-paced environment committed to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive labor and delivery coverage, including emergency procedures Support multidisciplinary teams, including OR and L&D staff Manage a patient load of approximately 10-15 call patients per week during 24-hour call shifts Ensure highest standards of patient safety and care in a hospital setting with 110 beds Utilize Paragon EMR for documentation and patient management Adhere to hospital protocols and maintain compliance with certification and licensing requirements
Required Skills:
Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology Valid state medical license (IMLC or temporary license accepted) DEA registration BLS and ACLS certifications Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience Nice to Have
Skills:
Experience in high-volume labor and delivery units Ability to perform or assist with advanced obstetric procedures Strong communication and teamwork skills Preferred
Education and Experience:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Prior experience in Level IV trauma hospitals or similar high-acuity environments Other Requirements:
Willingness to work 24-hour call shifts (19 00) Credentialing completion within 60 days Ability to obtain or transfer license as needed Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care This role begins on April 16, 2026, and offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $1,872.
