RequiredSkills and Qualifications
- Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Active State Medical License (IMLC or temporary license accepted) or eligibility for licensure
- DEA Certification
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in OB/GYN practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Experience working in high-volume labor and delivery environments
- Proficiency with the Paragon EMR system
- Additional certifications in maternal-fetal medicine or related specialties
Education and Experience
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution
- Prior experience in a hospital setting with comprehensive labor and delivery coverage
- Must be willing to work night shifts, specifically 24-hour call shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Ability to support 5-10 days of coverage per month, with no scheduled clinic hours
- Travel and licensure reimbursements available where applicable
