Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Contract Opportunity
Location: Elkins, West Virginia
Contract Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift
Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 24 Hours per Week
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a contract assignment in Elkins, WV. The ideal candidate will provide quality nursing care, support patient well-being, and work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure positive patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care under the supervision of Registered Nurses and physicians.
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist with patient assessments and care planning.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
- Support patient comfort, safety, and daily care needs.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and healthcare practices.
- Follow facility policies, infection control standards, and safety procedures.
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Current BLS certification preferred.
- Previous experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or clinical settings preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare environment.
