Gaming Revenue Auditor – Maverick Casino & Hotel Elko
Pay Range: $16 - $20/hr.

- Audit daily records of assigned gaming revenue generating departments in accordance with established procedures.
- Determine compliance with gaming regulations and company/department policies and procedures.
- Prepare manual and computer accounting records and reports.
- Work with operating departments to ensure accuracy of accounting records.
- Perform daily audit of cage, slots, table games, electronic games, and count room areas.
- Investigate and report discrepancies determined through audit process.
- Prepare information and reports for the CEO and CFO in a manner to ensure compliance with Gaming Commission Rules and Company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and files pertaining to daily audits of areas of responsibility.
- Anticipate ongoing changes, problems and opportunities in order to maintain effective systems and procedures.
- Investigate and report discrepancies determined through audit process to DOF.
- Use Aristocrat Oasis 360 system and Quickets Systems, compare and analyze jackpot tickets, vouchers, discrepancies, variances against any and all slot machines.
- Title 31 Enforcement and Audit.
- Perform related and/or other duties as required.
- Must be able to grasp, bend, and stoop; push or pull heavy loads weighing up to 50 lbs.
- High School Diploma with completion of college level accounting courses desired or equivalent amount of experience and education.
- Two (2) or more years of recent and related auditing or accounting experience, preferably within a gaming environment, preferred.
- Experience in an office environment or casino environment preferred.
- Must have or be able to obtain State of Nevada Gaming Card.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, Outlook applications and 10-Key Calculator.
- Must be thoroughly knowledgeable of Title 31, MICS, SICS, and internal controls or have the ability to learn.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements.
- Effective written and oral communication skills required.
- Knowledge of audit functions.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work required.
- Ability to write reports and business correspondences.
- Ability to meet deadlines and focus on accuracy and details.
