Walsh Reclamation is a locally owned and operated company with over 75 years of combined experience in the mining and reclamation field. Our home office is based in Elko, Nevada, with job sites located throughout the state. Candidates should be prepared to travel to various job sites across Nevada as work assignments require.

The Laborer supports exploration, excavation, and reclamation operations by performing a variety of physical tasks to assist crews with the construction, maintenance, and restoration of mining and exploration sites. Working under the direction of supervisors and equipment operators, this position helps ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

Pay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.

• Required Qualifications

  • MSHA certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in mining, exploration, reclamation, construction, or excavation
  • Valid driver’s license

• Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work on uneven terrain for extended periods
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and climbing throughout the workday
  • Ability to work extended hours, overtime, and travel to remote job sites as required
  • Must be able to wear appropriate PPE and conduct field inspections
