Job Description
The Great Basin College (GBC) Teacher Education Department is seeking a dependable and organized student worker who is currently declared in an Education degree program. The student worker will provide general clerical and administrative support to the department.
Minimum Qualifications- Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits for the semester and maintain a 2.0 GPA
- Must qualify for Work Study or RSP through Student Financial Services
- Must be a currently enrolled GBC student declared in an Education degree program.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Reliable, responsible, and punctual.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle departmental materials appropriately.
- Perform basic clerical duties, including filing, shredding, and organizing documents.
- Distribute student materials and assist with departmental needs.
- Use Microsoft Word and Excel to complete assigned tasks.
- Provide general office and administrative support.
- Assist with other department‑related projects and duties as assigned.
Predetermined work hours will be established based on departmental needs. The student worker must be punctual and consistently adhere to the assigned schedule.
Student employees may work up to 19 hours per week, with a maximum of 79.5 hours per month.
SalarySalary: $15.00 per hour
