Position DescriptionOur people division is growing, and we are looking for an Infrastructure Engineering Lead to join our Fourmile Project team. The successful candidate will oversee the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of mining infrastructure across our operations. The ideal candidate will provide strategic leadership, ensure operational efficiency, and support the safe, sustainable, and cost-effective development of mining facilities. This role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time, on budget, and in compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities- Lead the design, development, and execution of mining infrastructure projects, including site access roads, processing facilities, water management, power supply, ventilation systems, and surface support structures.
- Collaborate with mining engineers, geologists, environmental teams, and project managers to integrate infrastructure requirements into overall mine plans.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
- Develop and manage budgets, schedules, and resource allocation for infrastructure projects.
- Oversee contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure quality, efficiency, and alignment with project goals.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and leadership to infrastructure and operations teams.
- Evaluate existing infrastructure and recommend upgrades or optimizations to improve operational efficiency.
- Prepare and present technical reports, risk assessments, and project updates to senior management.
- Bachelor’s in Civil, Mining, Mechanical Engineering, or related field required
- 8–12 years’ experience in mining/industrial infrastructure projects, including leadership preferred
- Proven track record managing large-scale infrastructure projects preferred
- Strong knowledge of mining infrastructure, construction standards, and HSE regulations preferred
- Skilled in project management, team leadership, and stakeholder communication preferred
- Proficient in engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Deswik, etc.) with analytical problem-solving skills preferred
