Rango Inc. is seeking an experienced Field Safety Specialist to lead safety training, compliance, and field support across multiple job sites. This role partners closely with operations to promote a strong safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and support safe, efficient project execution.

• Conduct MSHA Part 48 & 46 training (new miner, refresher, experienced miner)
• Maintain training records and ensure compliance with MSHA requirements
• Perform job site audits, safety inspections, and equipment reviews
• Identify hazards and implement corrective actions
• Develop and update safety and environmental policies and procedures
• Create safe work plans for specific projects and field activities
• Partner with operations teams to align safety with business needs
• Lead/support incident investigations and ensure proper reporting
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement

• MSHA Part 48 Blue Card holder
• 5+ years as a safety professional in hard rock mining (Part 48)
• Strong knowledge of MSHA regulations and safety standards
• Experience delivering training, audits, and site inspections
• Proficient in safety program and policy development
• Ability to work effectively with operations and field teams
• Solid understanding of standard construction practices
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Valid driver’s license

• Background in Industrial Hygiene (IH)

• Based in Elko, NV
• Up to 50% travel

$95,000 - $120,000 depending on Experience
