Leeville - Underground Superintendent, Maintenance

Our people division is growing, and we are looking for an Underground Mobile Maintenance Superintendent at our Leeville underground operations.

• Implementation of Leeville Underground’s equipment asset maintenance strategy to ensure sound maintenance practices.
• Establish and implement plans, policies, and procedures which extend the useful life of existing equipment.
• Optimize preventive existing maintenance plans and programs thereby reducing downtime related to equipment.
• Ensure all equipment performance targets and work management KPI's (Key Performance Indicators) are achieved within the constraints of the maintenance budget.
• Effectively promote, deploy, and comply with all Safety & Health and Environmental policies, standards, procedures, and regulations across the Mobile Maintenance department.
• Develop annual budgets, prepare and submit capital budget, participate in incident investigations, ensuring corrective actions are effectively implemented and tracked.

• BSc degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mine Engineering or equivalent trade qualifications preferred
• Ten (10) years direct experience to maintenance and reliability of mining equipment preferred
• Budgeting and cost management experience required
• Excellent safety and environmental track record required
• Mobile, fixed and electrical background preferred
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project and MS Outlook required
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance systems such as Oracle and eAM preferred
• Proficiency in conducting failure analysis and root cause investigation techniques preferred
• Demonstrated ability to lead, influence and work effectively in a team required
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing required
