Slots Supervisor / $19 - $21 hr + weekly tips - Maverick Casino & Hotel Elko

The Slots Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of slot department workers to provide service to patrons. Handle and settle complaints of players. Verify and pay off jackpots. Reset slot machines after payoffs. Make repairs or adjustments to slot machines or recommend removal of slot machines for repair. Report hazards and enforce safety rules. Must be 21 years of age or older.

Position works between Maverick and Gold Country.

• Supervise Slot office staff.
• Responsible for the profitability of the Slot Department.
• Ensure proper orientation and training of all Slot procedures.
• Comply with all company and departmental policies and procedures.
• Patrol assigned areas to ensure that players are following rules and that machines are functioning correctly.
• Approve slot vouchers for payouts as required.
• Monitor operational quality or safety.
• Monitor patron activities to identify problems or potential problems.
• Verbal & aesthetically pleasing communication skills.
• Perform related and/or other duties as required.

• Management experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Excellent customer service skills a must.
• Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and the Internet.
• Solid organizational, time-management and prioritization skills.
• Must work well in stressful, high-pressured situations.
• Honesty and Integrity.
• College degree or equivalent education/experience preferred.
• Must obtain a Nevada Gaming card.
• Title 31 training.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience and knowledge that includes:

This position typically works varied shifts, including weekend and holidays. Must be able to lift 25 pounds; this position would require business professional attire.
