Position Overview
Our Registered Branch Associates are an essential part of the client team, helping Financial Advisors deliver a streamlined client experience and build lasting relationships. They partner with advisors to serve existing clients at the Advisor's direction, understand client motivations, and accelerate trust within the branch team.
Training and Support- Training may include mentoring, job shadowing, coaching, and branch office visits
- A support network extends beyond the branch office, including headquarters assistance via phone, email, and firm intranet resources
- Ability to learn and apply legal and regulatory requirements related to selling financial solutions

- Deepen relationships with existing clients
- Gather information and collect suitability data to open new accounts
- Research portfolio performance, cost/fees, asset allocation, changes to portfolio construction/investments, and make recommendations to the Financial Advisor. Communicate recommendations to clients on behalf of the Advisor when in agreement.
- Execute advisor-solicited buy/sell orders and confirm with clients
- Answer general client questions regarding Edward Jones Stock recommendations and withdrawals
- Actively business plan and work as a team to continuously evaluate and execute branch strategies
- Continuously develop yourself to grow personally and professionally
- Building meaningful connections and long-lasting relationships with clients
- Managing multiple projects in a dynamic and highly collaborative organization
- Identifying, analyzing, and resolving a wide variety of issues related to personalized investment solutions, involving the advisor when appropriate
- Desire to be part of a continuous learning environment, incorporating feedback and adapting to changes
- High School Diploma or equivalent required;
Bachelor's degree preferred - 3-5 years of relevant experience in securities/financial services industry preferred
- Series 7 and Series 66 required; if not currently registered, registrations may be obtained at Edward Jones during the assigned study period
- FINRA registrations are required within three months. State insurance licenses are also required
As an associate, you are required to complete all ongoing training offered by the firm and regulatory authorities FINRA and/or SEC. Complete required CE training to ensure license(s) are in good standing.
