Position Overview
Information Technology (IT) Professionals analyze, develop, implement, maintain, and modify computer operations, systems, networks, databases, applications, and/or information security. Incumbents may perform duties in one or more IT specialization areas depending on the needs of the agency.
Governor’s Technology Office – Network Transport Services Unit (Elko, NV) Position is within the Network Transport Services Unit and will be located in Elko.
Responsibilities- Maintains Aviat and Cisco IP/MPLS routers, switches, Network Monitoring System and servers, for a statewide enterprise microwave network.
- Administers microwave network management software, hardware, and servers as required.
