Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with C-Suite, the Director of People Services plays a critical role in fostering a people first culture that supports more than 200 dedicated employees.
With one highly functioning HR support professional as a direct report, this leader will drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement, support recruitment & retention, and ensure alignment with the hospital’s strategic objectives.
As we continue to grow, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Director, People Services to lead our Human Resources function and serve as a trusted strategic partner to our executive leadership team, ideal candidate who will excel in this role:
Directs and evaluates Human Resources operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
Lead and execute robust retention strategies to reduce turnover and support long-term talent development.
Build and sustain positive labor relations, including leading union negotiations and maintaining a collaborative approach with union representatives.
Analyze workforce data to identify trends and drive proactive solutions around engagement, staffing, and employee satisfaction.
Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding.
Coordinates and directs internal/external Human Resources audits.
Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
Schedule:
This is a Full Time, Exempt position. Full comprehensive Benefit and Total Rewards package eligible. Relocation assistance is available
- Bachelor’s degree required with 7 years of progressive HR leadership experience
- HR Certifications are preferred
- Previous Healthcare Experience is preferred
7 years of progressive HR leadership experience and employee relations experience are also required as listed at the top.
