- Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
- Gain full understanding and demonstrate adherence to the safety program.
- Load trucks and unload product as per the daily schedule, utilizing the onsite systems.
- Handle inquiries and orders for customers and sales personnel.
- Maintain shipping logs, prepare bills of lading, and calculate split‑load tonnage based on customer’s instructions.
- Complete all safety checks and audits independently on site.
- Maintain supply point and 5S standards.
- Operate mobile equipment safely and efficiently on site.
- Perform basic maintenance of equipment on site.
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
- High school graduation or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc.
- Independent proficiency with company apps for site emails, safety incident reporting, completing training and other programs.
- Certification for Rail Conductor, Barge and Truck Safety as per site requirements (internal or external).
- Certification for use of onsite mobile equipment as per site requirements (internal or external).
- Demonstrate safe operations of site equipment.
- Willingness to learn; training will be provided.
Work will be performed in a shop environment as well as outdoors throughout the plant. Mild exposure to cement dust, heat, cold, and noise requires compliance with specified safety guidelines and procedures. Exposure to high elevations up to 250 feet and all weather conditions. Normal operation of mobile equipment may result in jarring and vibratory exposure.
