TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a travel nurse RN – Labor and Delivery – for a 13‑week assignment in Elko, Nevada.

L&D Travel Nurses provide care and support for women before, during and after delivery. They must ensure medical and emotional needs are met throughout the birthing process.

• Assist physicians with epidural or pain medication administration, episiotomies, and cesarean preparations.
• Stay with and monitor patients throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and guide patients in breathing techniques.
• Check cervix periodically to monitor progression.
• Ensure beds are kept clean and dry; clean up bodily fluids.
• Assist the physician with drapes, gloves, gowns, delivery instruments, etc.
• Provide immediate newborn care.

Physical requirements:

stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, stoop without difficulty, lift up to 20 pounds (patient lifts up to 50 pounds). Must manage stress and relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.

Requirements: ACLS, BLS, 3 years of recent acute care experience. Additional certifications may be required before assignment.

Pay package based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation). Tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
