Overview
Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
- Report to the Director or Manager of Department.
- Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult.
- Regular occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens and hazardous materials.
- Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements.
- Education:
Associate's Degree in Nursing required;
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred. - License/
Certifications:
Current RN license in state of practice; BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred.
