About the RoleAs an RN joining our Behavioral Health Unit (BHU) team, you will advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients, assess conditions, communicate compassionately with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams, and document care appropriately.
Responsibilities- Advocate for patients’ physical and emotional well‑being.
- Assess patient conditions and determine needs in a timely manner.
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Perform accurate and timely documentation of medical necessity in the medical record.
- Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and spiritual/psychosocial support.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.

- Current Nevada State RN license.
- Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
- Basic Life Support certification required within 14 days of hire.
- A minimum of one year of RN experience.
