A registered nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) located in Elko, Nevada. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. The position involves providing care for adults and newborns within a women’s services unit, including labor, postpartum, and nursery care. The role requires knowledge of obstetrics procedures and the ability to manage a variety of clinical situations in a fast‑paced environment.

• Required Qualifications:
  
  Associates or bachelor's degree in nursing;
  
  Certifications:
  
  Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring; 2+ years of experience;
  Must have a valid nursing license upon start.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Experience with spontaneous vaginal delivery (SVD) without VBAC, cesarean sections, OB triage, non‑stress testing, postpartum, nursery care, hemorrhage management, fetal monitoring and interventions, and management of pre‑eclampsia/eclampsia/hypertensive crisis patients.
• Float:
  Float rotation may be required, depending on patient census and department needs.
• Unit:
  Women’s Services Department with 15 beds, including 6 Labor & Delivery beds and 9 postpartum beds. Patient ratios follow AWHONN standards. Equipment includes Omnicell medication dispensers, Baxter pumps, Masimo monitors, and GE Centricity fetal heart rate monitoring.
