Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Women's Services team, specializing in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery care. You will play a crucial role in providing high-quality healthcare services to women and newborns in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
• Perform assessments and interventions based on established protocols and patient needs.
• Manage a caseload that includes antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients.
• Utilize fetal monitoring techniques to assess fetal well-being.
• Perform newborn care procedures in the nursery, including management of hyperbilirubinemia.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families regarding care plans and post-discharge instructions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery care.
• Current BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications are required.
• Experience in intermediate or advanced fetal heart monitoring is essential.
• Must possess valid RN licensure in the state of Nevada.
