In this role, you will lead and coach a front-line sales team while directly driving Parts & Services (P&S) revenue across Nevada and Utah. With a strategic and hands‑on approach, you will execute national sales strategies, convert opportunities into orders, and ensure the team remains highly customer-facing, focused on generating new business, strengthening relationships, and delivering value-driven solutions to customer challenges.

Key Performance Areas

As the Regional Sales Manager – Nevada / Utah, you will lead a team of ~5 Parts & Services Sales Representatives (PSSRs), driving execution of the national sales strategy, portfolio growth, and operational excellence. You will also serve as the regional champion for the Machine Rebuilds and Components portfolios, ensuring their growth and performance, while supporting the Product Manager on Rock Drills execution.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop the PSSR team to achieve sales targets, portfolio growth, and key account objectives.
  • Actively drive revenue growth by ensuring the team consistently identifies, advances, and converts sales opportunities into closed business.
  • Set individual targets for PSSRs aligned with the national sales strategy and monitor performance to ensure results are delivered.
  • Ensure the sales team maintains a strong field presence, spending the majority of their time with customers to generate new business, expand share of wallet, and strengthen long‑term partnerships.
  • Ensure PSSRs effectively use CRM (Salesforce) to manage opportunities, document visits, and track results, leveraging data to improve team performance.
  • Drive growth and champion execution for assigned portfolios. Support Category Managers on business execution via PSSRs.
  • Maintain fleet accuracy above 95% and ensure high‑quality customer engagement.
  • Build and maintain senior‑level customer relationships, proactively identify customer pain points, and guide the team in developing tailored solutions that create measurable value for customers.
  • Identify performance gaps, provide hands‑on coaching (~75% field‑based), and align the team with operational and strategic objectives.
  • Attend monthly global portfolio meetings to present SA USA performance and serve as the local liaison with global support teams.
  • Collaborate across Sales, Services, Operations, Finance, CSC, and Logistics to ensure alignment and enable profitable growth.
Qualifications
  • You hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, with 5–8 years of sales leadership experience, preferably in aftermarket mining or OEM environments.
  • You have a proven track record of leading front‑line sales teams, driving portfolio growth, converting opportunities into revenue, and executing national sales strategies.
  • You are comfortable engaging directly with customers, understanding their operational challenges, and translating needs into commercially viable solutions.
  • With strong communication, coaching, analytical, and interpersonal skills, you demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and accountability, and thrive in a hands‑on, field‑based role.
