Conduct biological surveys and impact assessments that influence major projects, collect and analyze field data, collaborate with multidisciplinary experts, and support permitting processes that balance ecological integrity with business needs.

• Perform fieldwork and desk‑based analyses for baseline studies and impact assessments.
• Collect, organize, and interpret ecological data using digital tools.
• Prepare technical reports and contribute to permitting documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and regulators to ensure project success.
• Maintain high standards for quality, safety, and compliance.

• BA/BS in biology, natural resource science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1‑2 years of experience.
• Willingness to travel extensively (up to 70%) and work in remote, challenging environments.
• Familiarity with ArcGIS, Garmin and/or Trimble GPS, and digital data collection platforms.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility and initiative.
• Valid driver’s license and/or ability to operate a company vehicle.

• Master’s degree in biology or related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in biological surveys, permitting, or impact assessment.
• Knowledge of Nevada Conservation Credit System, sage‑grouse monitoring, and avian surveys.

Annual base pay: $67,200–$85,420 (USD). Compensation may vary based on education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. May be eligible for bonus pay, though not guaranteed.
