• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or public emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and high-traffic areas, verify authorized entry when required, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
• Support a professional environment by assisting with directions, de-escalating tense interactions, and documenting incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in required reports.

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
