Kenworth Sales Co. is looking for a Journeyman Diesel Technician to join our Elko, NV team.
Earn $30 - $45 per hour depending on experience!!

JOB SUMMARYThe primary function of the Journeyman Diesel Technician is to perform superior quality repairs to customer equipment and make recommendations for further services as determined by the Technician during service.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAbility to read, write, and comprehend English instructions and information. High school diploma or the equivalent. Five years of experience as a heavy‑duty truck repair technician with an emphasis on engine repair. Working knowledge of all heavy truck repair methods. Ability to operate power and hand tools and other equipment safely. Working knowledge of P/C and Computers. Excellent organization and communication skills.
Valid Commercial Driver’s License preferred and good driving record.
The Journeyman Diesel Technician reports directly to the Service Manager.
WORKING CONDITIONSThis is a physically demanding position. Will stand six to eight hours per shift. Will stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, handle and feel. Will lift parts weighing up to 50 pounds. Will use hand and power tools, hoist and test equipment. Will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, paint, and other hazardous and nonhazardous materials.
