The State of Nevada (NV) is seeking a Highway Equipment Mechanic 1 to join the Nevada Department of Transportation in Elko, NV. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing various types of NDOT equipment to ensure safe operating conditions. Essential skills include a working knowledge of equipment systems, the ability to prepare repair orders, and proficiency in basic welding.
This full-time position requires completion of an automotive repair apprenticeship program or equivalent experience, and offers an opportunity to contribute to highway maintenance and emergency response efforts.
