Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections, lubrication, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on all underground mining machinery.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective repair solutions to prevent equipment failures.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks to prolong the equipment's operational life.
- Execute systematic checks, lubrication, and part replacements as necessary.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Operate machinery such as overhead cranes, forklifts, and boom trucks.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements
What We're Looking For:
- Over 5 years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic.
- Strong mechanical skills and the ability to solve problems efficiently.
- Essential knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems of heavy machinery.
- Ability to read and comprehend equipment manuals, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and SAP is preferred.
- Must be capable of working independently while maintaining high safety standards.
