Job Overview

Master Tech is searching for Field Mechanics in Elko, NV. The successful mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of specialized heavy‑duty equipment both in the shop and at large and exhilarating job sites. The role requires experience working on mining, earth‑moving, and drilling equipment.

The mechanic will perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repair duties on specialized heavy‑duty equipment in both shop and job‑site locations.

• Hourly rate: $30.00 - $70.00/hour based on experience.
• Weekly pay.
• Monthly tool allowance: $300.00.
• Per diem options: up to $150.00/day.
• Relocation assistance and sign‑on bonuses available.

• 10 on / 4 off
• 9 on / 5 off
• 8 on / 6 off
• Fly‑In‑Fly‑Out options including 14 on / 7 off, 20 on / 10 off, etc.

• 3 or more years of experience working on heavy equipment (drilling, earth moving, construction, mining, agricultural, etc.).
• Excellent understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting issues and using diagnostic software.
• Experience with welding and fabrication.
• Ability to commit to overnight travel assignments when necessary.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• CDL, or ability to obtain one.
• Full set of tools.
