Field Service Technician – Mechanical Cutting

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and/or electrical aspects of underground mechanical cutting equipment
• New equipment commissioning and training at customer sites with minimal supervision
• Inspect equipment for proper performance and determine faults and malfunctions
• Adjust equipment and repair/replace defective parts or components according to scopes of work
• Complete accurate time records, technical reports, failure reports, and parts lists

• Technical certification or diploma in mechanical or electrical fields or equivalent years of professional field/technical experience
• Minimum of 7 years industry related experience
• Technical experience with diesel, low voltage, and high voltage electrical systems
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret equipment schematics

Demonstrates expertise in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical and electrical systems, with a strong focus on underground mechanical cutting equipment. Proficient in equipment commissioning, technical reporting, and interpreting schematics.
