Mobile Crane Technician

American Equipment HR LLC (AmQuip Crane Rental) seeks a Mobile Crane Technician to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mobile cranes supporting industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects. In this safety-focused, team-oriented role, you will perform field and yard service, conduct preventive maintenance, complete load and safety inspections, and document all work to meet company and regulatory standards. You'll collaborate closely with operators, dispatch, and project teams while gaining hands-on exposure to complex lifting projects, advanced diagnostics, and ongoing technical training with clear career growth paths.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mobile cranes in the field and yard
• Perform preventive maintenance per manufacturer and company schedules
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Conduct safety and load inspections to meet OSHA and company standards
• Document all service, parts used, and test results accurately
• Collaborate with operators, dispatch, and project teams to minimize downtime
• Respond to urgent service calls on active construction and industrial sites
• Maintain tools, service vehicles, and work areas in safe condition
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and lift plans
• Support ongoing improvements in service quality, reliability, and safety
