This is a hands-on Field Engineering/Technician role focused on the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and support of industrial networking, private 5G systems, electronics, and automation technologies on heavy equipment operating in mining and construction environments.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will work directly in the field to deploy and troubleshoot advanced communications and control systems, ensuring reliable performance in demanding industrial settings. This position requires strong technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work safely and independently at customer sites.
Responsibilities- Installation, commissioning, maintenance, and support of industrial networking, private 5G systems, electronics, and automation technologies.
- Deploy and troubleshoot advanced communications and control systems.
- Work safely and independently at customer sites.
- Basic experience with electronics, networking, telecommunications, automation, or mechanical systems preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems.
- Comfortable working outdoors and around heavy equipment in mining or construction environments.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
