Food Transporter​/Delivery Driver; Part Time

Job Summary

Delivers food, supplies, and other products to units and areas of service using a vehicle.

• Location:
  
  Elko County School District – 850 Elm Street, Elko, NV 89803.
• Schedule:
  
  Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM (part‑time).
• Pay: $18.00–$19.50 per hour.
• Previous lift gate and box truck driving experience required.
• Internal employee referral bonus available.

• Picks up requisitioned supplies from the staging clerk.
• Receives completed production orders, inventories items, and ensures completion.
• Loads orders onto the truck safely.
• Unloads materials at the delivery site.
• Follows sanitation and safety guidelines for food and equipment.
• Keeps hot and cold food items in compliance with company standards.
• Collects empty containers and rejects/unsold merchandise.
• Maintains general cleanliness of the vehicle.
• Performs routine truck maintenance.
• Interacts with coworkers to uphold service standards.
• Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Valid state driver’s license.
• Food handler’s permit where required.
• Demonstrated safe driving of company vehicles.

Because this position requires services in an educational facility, there may be periods when the Company does not require you to perform work (e.g., winter and summer breaks). Unpaid periods will be treated as temporary layoff. Work may be required year‑round or at different locations during breaks.
