Job Description Tarbiyah Academy is recruiting three full-time elementary school teachers for grades 1–5, beginning August 1, 2026. This Islamic school in Elkridge, Maryland employs the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB-PYP) framework to integrate Islamic values into comprehensive academic instruction.
Role Overview : As an elementary teacher, you will deliver IB-PYP-aligned instruction that nurtures students' intellectual, spiritual, and social development. Your teaching will embed Islamic principles throughout the curriculum while maintaining rigorous academic standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver IB-PYP-aligned lessons for your grade level (grades 1–5)
* Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
* Communicate regularly with families about student development
* Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum and school initiatives
