Northrop Grumman is seeking a (Thermal) Mechanical Engineer. This position will be located at our Space Systems Sector in Hanover, MD. The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Eastern Engineering.

A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

• Education or experience must include basic thermodynamics, physics and fluid mechanics.
• Fundamental understanding of space craft thermal systems designs.
• Demonstrate ability to apply fundamental physics principles to understand and solve problems.
• Be completing or has completed their Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
• Be majoring in or having majored in a Mechanical Engineering or related STEM degree.
• Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).

A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

• Be completing or has completed their Master's Degree from an accredited institution.
• Be majoring in or having majored in a Mechanical Engineering or related STEM degree.
• Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).

• Experience with two phase thermal control systems
• Undergrad or Graduate level thermodynamics, physics and/or fluid mechanics
• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0 or higher.

Associate Engineer: $66,200 - $99,200

Engineer: $79,600 - $119,400
