Warehouse Coordinator​/Driver

Elliot is a full-service electrical contractor specializing in overhead and underground distribution, transmission, substations, lighting, traffic signaling, utility locating and industrial/commercial services.

Job Description

As the Warehouse Coordinator/Driver, you will play a key role in keeping our operation running smoothly by:

• Overseeing all shipping and receiving of materials and supplies
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and yard
• Receiving, inventorying, and labeling incoming materials and supplies in a timely fashion
• Creating and implementing processes to improve efficiency and organization
• Coordinating with operations teams and stakeholders to arrange pick-ups and deliveries
• Communicating effectively with vendors, suppliers, and internal/external partners
• Transporting vehicles, equipment, and materials between operation sites and suppliers
• Assisting the Company’s mechanic in the shop as needed, supporting equipment, tools, and repairs
• Following and enforcing the Company’s safety rules and standards
• Maintaining proper care of Company equipment and tools
• Performing other duties as directed or assigned

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and current medical card required
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• 2–3 years of warehouse operations or similar experience preferred
• 1–2 years of construction and/or electrical industry experience preferred
• 1–2 years of forklift experience preferred
• Basic mechanical aptitude or experience assisting with equipment maintenance/repairs preferred
