Pallet​/Pit Tech

A Pit Tech/ Pallet Tech Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently operating various industrial vehicles to move materials and pallets within a warehouse or industrial setting. This may involve using forklifts, order pickers, and other equipment to lift, stack, and transport items. They also assist with loading and unloading vehicles and may be responsible for tasks like building pallets. As well as additional cleaning duties within the warehouse.

Part-time Shifts Available:
Saturday and Sunday (6:00 am - 2:30 pm) Saturday and Sunday (10:00 pm - 6:30 am)

Pay Rate: $18.00 - 19.00 per hour

• Operating PITs:
  Use forklifts, order pickers, and other equipment to move materials.
• Loading and Unloading:
  Assist with loading/unloading vehicles.
• Material Handling:
  Move, locate, relocate, and stack items.
• Staging and Pallet Building:
  Prepare materials for delivery.
• Safety:
  Ensure safe operation and adherence to safety protocols.
• Equipment Maintenance:
  Perform basic inspections and maintenance.
• Clean and maintain buildings/facilities.
• Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Notify Manager concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
• Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
• Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
• Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas, either manually or by using hand trucks.
• Clean interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Wash and replace blinds.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Sweep walks, rake leaves, cut grass, remove snow or perform other incidental seasonal tasks.
• Wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.

• Ability to Follow Instructions:
  Follow written and verbal instructions.
• Teamwork:
  Collaborate with other warehouse staff.
• Customer service experience.
• 1 year of similar work experience.
