Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

Overview

A client of Insight Global is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Logistics Coordinator to join their team of 9. The role involves utilizing computer systems to track, log, verify, and report material activities. The position requires processing material receipts, pulling materials to support manufacturing production, and repairing work in progress (WIP), as well as fulfilling other material requests. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, communicating, and processing physical inventory losses in compliance with PrOP standards.

You will be trained on the job and obtain a company specific certification.

Compensation: $20/hr.

-- 22/hr exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. • Receive incoming materials from vendors and manufacturing
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels
• Identify special stock requirements for proper segregation
• Process material receipts
• Pull materials to support manufacturing production
• Repair work in progress (WIP)
• Fulfill other material requests
• Identify, communicate, and process physical inventory losses in compliance with PrOP standards
• Participate in on‑the‑job training and obtain company specific certification

• High School diploma or GED and 6 years of working experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in receiving, inventory control, logistics or similar role
• Able to obtain and maintain a forklift operating license
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs
• Experience with Microsoft products
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
